This song.. is making me so sentimental.
It's making me remember the times when I was younger.. back in the day.. when I didn't have to worry about life, all I had to worry about was myself... people I knew.. things I wanted to try or do.. Back when I first met Sean and we were first in love.. and how happy i was.. how innocent and sweet and truly happy and wonderful everything was. then when he left to seattle for the first time and how sad it made me. and how i was just completely depressed, and how it was like my heart was ripped into a thousand pieces and i missed him so much.. and.. man... how emo i was. and when i'd sit in my room in the dark and listen to bright eyes.. and write down sad words on paper and try to write songs.
i miss those days.. i was just so sad. i miss being that sad. now i'm happy and i have to be a grown up and do all these things.. i didn't have to do anything back then. i could just be an emo kid.
this song is so sad.... ohhhhhh goodness.. it's crazy how a song can bring back so many memories....

I hate growing up...
last year was so good. not to mention the year before that..
being in love for the first time is so awesome.. It's still awesome, but after two years it's just changed. it's still as good.. maybe even better. it's just different. it was so new and exciting back then.
those were such good times.... i wish i could live in those moments forever.

| Summer 06 |

About my summer that's now coming to an end. Many things happened this summer and many things didn't happen. Overall it was a great season! Let's see... what all happened this summer..
Well, Sean got a job selling Cutco, and that whole thing was fun. I think it helped him out in just like.. everything. He's awesome and an awesome worker. I can say this with no hesitation: there's nobody on the planet that knows more about Cutco than Sean does. and I admire him for that. I mean, everything he does he does wholeheartedly. Like.. he doesn't just go do something half-assed and forget it.. he finds out everything there is to know and does it well. That's what I think about my boyfriend. He's great and he can do anything he puts his mind to. Plus he's smart.. even if he doesn't think so sometimes. Oh he knows he is though.. somewhere in there he knows.
So we didn't get to hang out as much as we did last summer, but do you know what? That's ok. It gave me more time to myself, which I probably needed.. not because I need space, because I don't, but I think I just grew up more over the summer. I'm really happy with our relationship right now, and I think we've like.. crossed a good line.. onto a deeper and better relationship. I just.. really love Sean and I know I want to be with him forever. I know it's meant to be.. it just doesn't feel like a teenage romance anymore. We're closer than we've ever been now. Yeah, so we spent a lot of time this summer just sleeping next to each other on my couch and less time with other occupations. It was good for us. I'm happy being with Sean no matter what goes on.. I just am happy to sit by him, talk to him, lay next to him, or just see him. I think that's what's just so great about everything. Love, that's it. It's lovely.
I guess that's about all I have to say. This summer was good, and I love my life. I'm scaring myself, but maybe my emo days are over.. well.. no I know they're not. But for now they are.

It seems to me as if I've been emo in this livejournal a lot previously. Therefore, I'd like to express my feelings right now.. which happen to not be emo!
My life's great. I have a wonderful boyfriend who I love. I mean, he left yesterday to go back to school.. which means I miss him terribly. But it'll be ok because eventually we'll be together forever. No more leaving each other to go to schools far away. But for now I'm dealing with him being gone. It's only been a day, but we'll see how it goes. I think I'm more used to him leaving now, since he did it last year... hmm. I don't know.
I just wanted to say that life is cool. I'm listening to like the best playlist ever on itunes, it's the perfect tempurature in this room, I'm wearing comfortable pajamas, I'm starting school in a few days, which I'm actually excited for, and I have a boyfriend who loves me. I mean seriously, what more could I ask for? Nothing, that's what.
Well this is just an entry of my thoughts and how they randomly come into my head. Who knows where thoughts come from? I sure don't.
